Apps/Reward System

Hi all! This week I have done some research on some apps that may be helpful for Zach, as he starts his journey to learning French! I have also looked into the benefits of a rewards system, and how that can help keep him motivated! Below are a few apps that can be helpful to someone learning a new language!  Welcome to my Genius Hour Blog! My name is Sydney Hayward, and I am a Teacher Candidate at Brock University! I am going to be a high school French and math teacher, and am looking forward to learning lots about how to become an amazing person and teacher! This blog will follow all the things I try, to teach my boyfriend how to speak French (something he cannot do).  My goals for this project: To learn new/effective strategies to teach someone French! To be able to share my progress along the way in hopes of inspiring other to do the same! To ensure my student is able to introduce himself and able to carry a basic French conversation, using basic French vocabulary. Every week I am going to research and come up with different strategies to teach the basics of speaking French, to someone who does not know how to speak the language! On this blog I will post things that I have tried, research I have read, and how you to can try this with someone you know! Feel free to follow me al...
